Confidence Level definitions

  • High — “Active subcontracting opportunities posted by prime contractors seeking small business subcontractors.”
  • Medium — “Inferred opportunities from federal contracts with subcontracting plans (FAR 52.219-9). Prime not directly soliciting but required to subcontract.”
  • Low — “Similar to medium but with approaching deadlines or lower contract amounts.”
Subcontracting has no in-app document viewer. “Files Attached” is descriptive text pulled from the source, not a clickable attachments list — if you need the actual documents, follow Prime Contract Award to the parent federal contract, which does have a full Attachments section.

Contact Information

Three independent contact blocks — Solicitation Contact, Small Business Contact, and Government Contact — each with its own Find Email button. If a contact has a name and a resolvable company domain but no listed email address, Find Email searches for one (this is disabled when the only domain available is sam.gov, since that’s not a real company domain to search against). A found email is marked with a green checkmark.
