# Common Search Recipes

> Copy-paste search examples for popular government contracting workflows

Use these recipes as starting points on the [Search](/features/search) page. Adjust sources, filters, and dates to match your business.

## Active Texas SLED construction

1. Select **SLED** as the source.
2. Use Smart Search: `active construction contracts in Texas`
3. Open **Filters** → set state to **Texas** and **Active Only**.

## AI/cybersecurity posted in the last 7 days

1. Select **Federal** (or **Multi-Source**).
2. Smart Search: `AI cybersecurity solutions for federal agencies`
3. Filters → **Posted date** → last 7 days.

## DOD opportunities due in the next 30 days

1. Select **Federal**.
2. Keyword Search: `agency:"Department of Defense" AND due_date:[NOW TO +30DAYS]`
3. Sort by **Due date**.

## NIH grants due in the next 60 days

1. Select **Grants**.
2. Smart Search: `health research grants from NIH`
3. Filters → **Response date** within 60 days.

## Subcontracting — high confidence under \$1M

1. Select **Subcontracting**.
2. Smart Search: `subcontracting opportunities for small business`
3. Filters → **Confidence Level** → High; **Contract value** under \$1M.

## Recompetes in your NAICS expiring in 12 months

1. Select **Recompete**.
2. Smart Search: `contracts expiring in the next year in [your NAICS]`
3. Filters → **Contract End Date** → next 12 months; **NAICS** → your codes.

## Multi-source sweep for cloud services

1. Enable **Multi-Source** and select Federal, SLED, and Subcontracting.
2. Smart Search: `cloud infrastructure and managed services`
3. Review results per source; save promising searches for alerts.
